On December 26, 2009, the Wuhan-Guangzhou high-speed railway section between Beijing and Guangzhou was put into operation. This is the longest, most complex in engineering type and with a speed of 350 kilometers per hour among all high-speed railway lines in the world. This marks that China has thus entered the era of high-speed rail. The increase in high-speed rail speed has promoted rapid economic development, but it has also increased safety hazards in train operation. High-speed rail adopts the hollow axle technology to reduce weight and increase train running speed. At that time, flaw detection of hollow axles was still a blind spot in China. After being recommended by experts from the Ministry of Railways, our company collaborated with domestic well-known enterprises to complete the research and production of flaw detection for hollow axles. Now, the flaw detection test blocks for high-speed rail hollow axles in China are all produced by our company. The significant increase in train running speed has raised higher requirements for flaw detection grades and inspection processes for steel rails, wheels, axles, etc. Our company promptly developed and provided high-quality flaw detection test blocks for steel rails, wheels, axles, etc., to ensure the safe operation of the speed-up trains.
