From May 29 to June 2, 2019, the 14th National Engineering Construction System vocational Skills Competition was successfully held in Jiayuguan, the first pass in the world. The competition was sponsored by China Employment Training Technical Guidance Center and China Engineering Construction Welding Association, and was hosted by Gansu Iron and Steel Vocational and Technical College and Gansu Metallurgical Technology College. From the national chemical construction, power construction, petrochemical, construction, shipbuilding industry, metallurgy, petroleum, water conservancy and hydropower and other nine industries to participate in this competition. Our company, as the designated unit of the test block for the competition of the non-destructive testing project, was invited to participate in the field service of technical service personnel to ensure the smooth progress of the competition and escort the practical operation of the competition.
In order to ensure the smooth progress of the competition, our company worked overtime to complete the processing of supporting test blocks and brackets and send them to the site of Jiayuguan Pass before the competition, and install and debug them without error in the examination room, so as to ensure the smooth development of all tasks during the competition. With reference to the competition rules of WorldSkills Competition, the original competition system and evaluation criteria have been adjusted and refined, and strive to minimize the major decline in performance caused by accidental errors of players and the influence of judges' subjective judgment on competition results, and ensure that the competition is more fair, just and open by more scientific and reasonable means.
