In accordance with the requirements of China Railway Railway Corporation Railway Axle Assembly and Inspection and Management Rules of Railway Freight Car Axle Assembly and Inspection and Management Rules of Railway Passenger Car Axle Assembly and Inspection and Management Rules, the inspection and acceptance level of in-service axles has been improved, and the semi-axle test blocks produced and used in the previous stage can no longer meet the requirements of the existing testing regulations, and the new semi-axle test blocks are required to be pressed into the wheel seat (hub). In the head of the shaft, bearings, front and rear gear and other parts, the defect distribution, assembly requirements have changed, in the assembly aspect, we have not been in contact with the railway system outside the manufacturer, which is relatively unfamiliar, so my company set up a half shaft physical test block research and development team, in order to design a half shaft test block to meet the new requirements.
The project team immediately organized the relevant personnel of the Technical Department and the Quality Control Department to conduct extensive exchanges with the technical personnel of Jinan West Depot of Jinan Railway Bureau, Harbin Depot of Harbin Railway Bureau, and Jiayuguan Depot of Lanzhou Railway Bureau. At the same time, the technical personnel of our company also consulted a large number of technical data. After many times of testing and data collection, we finally determined the complete set of processing and assembly plan. After the inspection, the semi-shaft test block fully met the processing requirements of the test block, and the reflection data of the defects before and after the press assembly also met the requirements of the iron standard. In order to guide the production technology department of the physical test block of the axle in the later stage, the technical parameters were sorted out and summarized and the Operation Instruction was compiled. In order to guide the later inspection work, the quality Control Department sorted out the flaw detection methods of the axle and compiled the Operation Regulations for Flaw Detection of the axle. Now, the physical test block of half axle can be mass produced to meet the needs of non-destructive testing for the maintenance of freight car axle and passenger car axle in railway system.
